South Africa

Each year we design a bag specifically around the country or region we will be donating the children's bags in. This year we will be taking the bags to South Africa which is where Tribuo's co-founder Kyle Nehring spent two years living and giving service, which honestly is partly why we picked it. We are planning the design around the South Africa flag. If you have an opinion about how you'd like the bag to look we would love to hear it.

Prototypes

Here are some prototypes that Kyle and I have made. Feel free to let me know what you think or changes you would like to see made. We made the straps larger than traditional messenger bag straps and we tried to give the  bag its self a more rustic feel. We are still working on our  design for the South African Bag, which I'll talk more about another time, so if you have input on how you would like to see it designed feel free to leave a comment about that too.

This isn't just about Tribuo and what we are doing. It's about all of you. It's about everyone and anyone. We want to know how you're making a difference and if you're the kind that doesn't feel good about tooting your own horn tell about someone you know that's making a difference. Size and influence isn't important but making the world a better place is.

Tribuo began because we had a product we loved and an idea we loved even more.

Change the world

Tribuo is so much more than just a company. It's an idea. The idea that we all have something to give. Everyone can and does change the world on a daily basis. The concept that what we do and say has no impact on the world is as naive as believing that because we cannot see the air around us that it does not exist. We may not always recognize the change but it is there. Whether or not that change is for good or bad is entirely up to you. Tribuo is not a non-profit organization but what it really is is a business entity that believes that every business and corporation should be actively giving back to it's people, community, country and yes even the world it is a part of as a whole.

For every bag that is purchased from Tribuo there will be another bag given to a needy child along with some basic needed school supplies. As the quote by Nelson Mandela says, "Education" not electricity, shelter, food, or even money "...is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
